Where can I install EdgeConnector?
EdgeConnector comprises of three parts, EdgeConnector Service, EdgeConnector Installer, and EdgeConnector Manager. These three parts can be installed independently from each other on any Windows 2000, XP, or Vista domain server or computer within the company firewall.
How secure is EdgeConnector?
EdgeConnector keeps IT in control. Permissions for allowing other departments to maintain physical access control are handled by Active Directory.
How can I use EdgeConnector if I do not have POE?
You can add POE to any ethernet cable with a simple device called a POE injector. Just install one of these in between your network switch and the Edge controller.
How many cards can I assign to each user?
There is no limit to the number of cards that can be assigned using EdgeConnector
